This was the first day since we left Beijing that we could stop and relax for a while during the day. It felt pretty good. View from the top of the French Alps. Amazing weather at the top of the pass. Henry made the climb with no problems. He is leaking a little oil and drinking about a liter of water every day, but that is ok because so are his passengers. Just got off the phone with Fritz. It’s 1am in Belokurikha Russia and they’ve just arrived at their hotel and gotten settled. “First shower in 4 days! Been wearing the same clothes and underwear for four days in Mongolia!” Fritz shared for his daughters benefit/amusement.
